Fedex left (1) one message that said they tried 3 times (A lie) so now I needed to drive 85 miles to their pick up point. I did no such thing. I did make up a sign that said, NO FEDEX HERE, EVER. NO DELIVERIES. NO PICKUPS. NO FEDEX PACKAGES WILL EVER BE ACCEPTED AT THIS ADDRESS. FEDEX, SEND YOUR PACKAGE BACK TO YOUR SENDER. WE DO ACCEPT AND USE UPS & USPS.
My son was sent a package, they said they tried to deliver. When he called they said he had to pick it up before 6 PM so he left work early drove 40 miles to be told they sent it back in the morning. Problem was it was his student visa and was sent back to the Danish Consulate. Took an overseas call, and he had to pay another $20.00+ to have it re-sent! I never use FEDEX!

and how a bout that wonderful customer who swears he needs that oh so important christmas present, being worth thousands of dollars AND being life-saving medicine…. so people dig through containers, on christmas day btw, because some people just are not able to shop in time…. just to find the package with shipper info saying dogtreats.com!
or those sitting at home yelling at the delivery person ON CHRISTMAS DAY “what took you so long?!” fyi the label requested a delivery by monday, december 28th, but due to an obvious christmas themed wrap the delivery person decided to take it out ON CHRISTMAS DAY anyways….
it is just an awesome fact that the delivery person always takes the hit for other people’s inability, a lot of times the customer, not even the shipper!!! think about that for a change!!

There is indeed a problem with some individuals within UPS particularly. When living in Irvine and depending on the Alisa Viejo UPS Depot I had a few packages that UPS claimed were left ‘around’ my address and never found and a few instances when a note was left stating that a delivery was attempted but there was no one to accept the delivery. In fact the UPS delivery person was seen to walk to the door, stick the note on the door and walk away to his/her truck. I complained on line to UPS and also registered my complaint in person at the Alisa Viejo Depot in person. No response from UPS. They know they have a problem with some of their employees but what can the company do when the problem is pervasive in the community that they choose their personnel from. It is shame as it brings a bad name to UPS and Fedex. Management has to do something about this. The losses over the year will mount to a big problem to the insurers which in turn costs the society.

new to market, only one of a kind.new wave of future. all you need is a computer.that’s it..free website, advertising, leads, etc.you are doing this already, now get paid for it…
Or, remember those many, many packages that were sent and delivered without incident? Okay, that doesn’t make for a great headline, but it’s a fact. They deliver many, many thousands of packages daily. Geez, people- take a chill pill.

THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL THAT KID DID NOT HEAR UPS KNOCK ON MY EFFIN DOOR!!! ITS BECAUSE UPS DID NOT KNOCK HE JUST LEFT THE STUPID STICKER. IF THIS EVER HAPPENS TO YOU JUST TELL THEM THAT YOUR GONNA MAKE THE SENDER ASK FOR A REFUND AND YOUR CALLING THE MAIN OFFICE.
Package was delivered promptly on th Friday after Thanksgiving day when supposedly nobody was working(Or at least thats what th ditz at the customer call cente told us)
Dont give up just tell those A-Holes that they have an RX in their posession, you are getting a refund and calling the main office
It worked for me.

I have had very good experience with everybody for some years, but in the past, that brown truck has pulled some stunts: like leaving a MACHINE GUN on the ROAD that was supposed to have been signed for in some special way. I got to it before the ghetto folks who live in the ice caves did.

I like the fact that UPS/FedEx/USPS are drug dealers and they don’t even know it.

My disability check changed to a visa debt card. UPS didn’t deliver or leave a note. When I called the sender, got the tracking number, called UPS, they said they tried 3 times and I could pick it up at the main office. Funny(keep in my I’m not able to use my legs)we knew this was coming, I paid an extra $15 for it, and my front door was open as well as most of the windows. There was NO attempt to deliver however I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else had plans. At least my mother managed to, with help from an employee, to locate my envelope. So, the Post Office still is #1 for any delivery!
Sorry, people. We have to deliver a certain number of packages or we get in trouble. Could cost us our jobs. So we just leave stuff by the door. If we wait for you to come to the door or whatever, it slows us down. If it absolutely requires a signature, maybe we’ll stick around if things aren’t too busy. But if it’s busy, you’re gonna be making a trip to the warehouse. Too bad. Your cookies from grandma ain’t worth me losing pay or my job.

@Delivery Dude
I like how the service we pay for, and you advertise, are lower on the priority list because of bad company policy. Why don’t you speak up and say something to the officers of the company you work for? Do you agree with the standards that your being held to, and the standard of service that is being given to the paying customers? I understand your position of maintaining employment, but, at least in my opinion, that does not mean that we should not ensure quality service to those who are paying for it. Grandma’s cookies may not be worth loosing your job, but you’ll be at risk for loosing your job when your company makes cut-backs due to slowing sales that were a direct result of bad service. There is more than one shipping company in town. Try and make yours the best one out there, and everyone will benefit.

Every company does this. I’ve got a cousin works for the post office and says they do it, too. Walk to the door, put a sticker on and leave. I was home once, heard a noise at the door and opened it up in time to see the delivery truck drive away after ONLY putting the “attempted delivery” slip on my door. I called the company immediately and he had to turn around and actually deliver it.

I once had a letter correctly addressed to me from parcel force, asking for my address as they had a parcel for me and didnt know where to deliver it. Really it would be funny if it wasnt so hopeless.

To: UPS delivery men:
Hey guys, you did a fabulous job this year. The ones who
came to our house had to navigate past a “guard bird” ha ha,
you know what I’m talking about.
Unfortunately that is so true here in the UK with the supposedly ‘Royal Mail’.
Yes, very good. But-how about blocking the Driveway while sitting in your truck looking up the next address!
And –knocking on the door, placing the package down, and running
until: a dog barks, a women opens the door, the package explodes.
And–adding an extra super strength layer onto the package so that anyone who opens it risks:
a) tearing the product apart,
b) tearing their hand apart
c) tearing the critical return adress into tape dust
odac snarler
banana news

or tearing the mailman apart

I generally have no problems when I receive any packages from any of the major carriers. I am a happy customer.
